facial aesthetics plan

As we get older, the effects of aging begin to show - often, most noticeably, on our facial skin. Every day, your skin is constantly under attack from exposure to wind, sun, cold and pollutants in the air so there is little we can do to prevent some signs of aging. Combined with internal attacks from stress, fatigue, emotional changes and hormones, our skin's structure and appearance begin to weaken and change.

In addition, the repeated use of facial muscles, along with the natural breakdown of collagen and the hyaluronan support layer beneath your skin, gradually cause lines and wrinkles to form.

Your dentist is fully qualified to help you to restore and improve your facial lines and wrinkles. Many celebrities have been having this treatment for years to help them maintain their youthful appearance, with amazing results.

You may already benefit from regular facial aesthetics treatment but been discouraged by the fee. Therefore, we are delighted to offer our maintenance programme that helps you to spread the payments for regular facial aesthetics treatment and make great savings throughout the year.

facial aesthetics treatment and technique

Facial line and wrinkle reduction treatment is a minimally invasive technique that has revolutionised the cosmetic approach to the care of facial skin.

One method involves a liquid product that is injected to relax the muscles and decrease muscle movement. When the product is injected into the muscle that is casuing wrinkling of the skin, the overlying skin will temporarily become quite smooth resulting in a more youthful appearance.

Another approach injects biodegradable implants directly into the dermis of the skin to fill lines, folds and wrinkles, replacing any natuarl collagen that has been lost. Mouths can also become fuller and lips more clearly defined.

Both treatments are effective seperately although your dentist may advise you to combine the two treatments to acheive the best results.

Treatment normally takes around 15 minutes, requiring no recovery time and with a very low incidence of side effects. Although there may be moderate discomfort during the treatment using fine needles and the area is numbed with anaesthetic cream to avoid any pain.

In the hours that follow your treatment, you may see some slight swelling or small red marks. These can be easily masked with make-up. The area may be tender to touch for up to 48 hours but patients can reasonably expect to return to work or attend social engagements immediately after treatment.
